OCAD U Recruiting Ad Campaign
OOH Media Project developed by the in-house team inside OCAD University. It is based on the collage and brutalist aesthetics and the main theme was to represent the University's alumni through fantastical elements of collage and illustrations that reflect their personalities.
This campaign had applications around the downtown subway (TTC) of Toronto and the animations had a temporary spot at the Yonge-Dundas Square's (YDS) screens. When the QR Code is scanned from one of the posters, it takes the audience to the recruitment page where behind-the-scenes videos of the alumni talking about their experience while at OCAD University are played.
My initial role in this project was to do visual research of the collage elements, then evolved to developing the background illustration of the Sharp Center building and the handmade lettering where the Alums information can be read. In regards to video, I was responsible for animating the YDS posters and creating animated titles for the behind-the-scenes videos that live on the recruitment page.
Media: Printed posters, motion graphics animations, digital marketing assets (website banner, ads), videos
Yonge and Dundas Square animations
Short animations were developed for the Yonge and Dundas Square screens.
